Yoga to Incarcerated Youth & Underserved Communities

THE MOMENT YOU VALUE YOURSELF, THE WHOLE WORLD VALUES YOU - Yogi Bhajan

UpRising Yoga’s Mission Statement is simple: to bring yoga to incarcerated youth and communities that need it  the most. We teach yoga in juvenile halls, detention facilities, group homes, community centers and schools. The specific populations served are incarcerated youth, children with a history of foster care, commercially sexual exploitation children (CSEC) and communities that need it the most. We hold Trauma Informed Yoga Trainings for all, Empowerment Workshops and Trauma Sensitive Classes in local communities.
